Mission

The mission of the Palm Haven Residents Committee is to restore and preserve the public places and installations that exist in the Palm Haven Historic Conservation Area as defined by the City of San Jose Historic Landmarks Commission, to build a sense of community by encouraging neighborhood involvement in the care and preservation of its public resources, and to educate local citizens on those resources and the importance of their relationship to the Conservation Area.

Hello Neighbors,

Palm Haven residents formed the Palm Haven Residents Committee (originally named the “Palm Haven Restoration Committee”) in 2002 and have been improving the neighborhood ever since. I thought it would be worthwhile to establish a web presence for the Committee, in order to introduce new residents to our mission and functions, and to update everyone on our accomplishments and plans.

I am still very much of a beginner with the "Blogger" software that I'm using to build the site. I apologize for the very rough appearance of these web pages, and will try to spruce it up as my time and interest (and abilities) allow.

The Spring meeting of the PHRC will be held on May 31 at 8:30 - 9:30 am. Please click on ghe "Agenda" link to the right for further details.
